Mgm Restaurant

A local Nanimo resident recommended MGM as good food for the price and he was quite right. In addition the customer service was excellent and included local live entertainment. We went on a Sunday night at supper time, when they were fairly busy, yet the service was excellent and the food great. We had seafood club sandwich, also Ruban and yam fries. Loved this restaurant - prices are great, food is good, service is good and they even have entertainment sometimes in the evenings. This is like restaurants used to be, we were impressed. We will definitely return.

I really like this restaurant because as soon as i walked through the door they came up and greeted me right away they are very nice people and the food is very good and its a clean restaurant the prices are really good and the servise is fast and the food is great and so is the live music it gives the restaurant a good feeling being there. I would reccomend this restaurant to everyone

Great food for a great price. Where else can you get a seniors meal that has a full sized meal, soup or salad, coffee or tea and dessert for under ten dollars. Their prices are ridiculously good compared to other family restaurants, especially for the portion sizes. The staff there genuinely cares about giving fast and friendly service. I heard recently their was a controversy about their veal cutlets actually being pork. This would only bother me if every other restaurant in their category wasn't doing it too or if they charged veal prices instead of pork prices. But ten dollars for a pork cutlet meal is pretty reasonable. I paid $26.00 at another restaurant for a few tiny pieces of veal the other day so its not like MGM was really trying to rip people off or pretend they were something their not. Overall I'd highly recommend the MGM, you'll feel like home after only a few visits.
