Calico Cat Tea House

My best friend took me there for my birthday, and I loved it! Great food, quaint setting, and an amazing reading by Heather. I was pleasantly surprised how accurate she was, even with things that had never been spoken of before. Entertaining and insightful! Highly recommend!

In August my girlfriends took me for lunch at the Calico Cat Tea House to celebrate my 60th birthday. We all had our tea leaves read and had a wonderful time. I am looking forward to taking my mother-in-law up for a nice treat.

A few years back, my sister went with friends to have her tea leaves read. As my sister and her friends sat there chatting, one of the ladies kept coming back to my sister's table and telling her things. There's a lady standing beside you - ok general stuff - she's very insistent - ok - (our mom had recently passed away xmas eve 2006) she wants you to know that her hair is full and beautiful again!!

When my sister told me this I burst into tears, our mom was very meticulous about her appearance. One of the first things I said to her on our last visit,before she passed away, was that I would take her out and get her hair done and my sister said the same thing too. Absolutely fantastic! We go there every time we visit the island!! What a treat. Wonderful staff and terrific food, my favourite being afternoon tea with a huge scone, warm of course, fresh whipped cream and lemon curd! They can read your tea-leaves too!
