Smitty's Family Restaurant

I don't agree with other review. i think Smitty's Nanaimo has reasonable price, good service and quility food.

BEEN THERE 4 TIMES.1ST TIME VERY BAD SERVICE. DID NOT GO BACK FOR OVER A YEAR. TRIED AGAIN TWICE SERVICE WAS OK, 4 TH TIME AGAIN VERY BAD SERVICE AND MGT WAS IGNORANT TO THERE EMPLOYEE (WAITRESS) IN FRONT OF ME AND OTHER CUSTOMERS (WHICH IS WRONG, BUT THE COMPLAINT IS HE THE MGT PERSON WALLKED PAST MY TABLE 2 TIME AND DID NOT OFFER COFFEE WHEN IN HIS HAND, DO NOT BLAME WAITRESS AS COMPANY TO CHEAP TO HAVE ENOUGH EMPLOYES SHE WAS RUN OFF HER FEET

We for many years have enjoyed Breakfast at Smitty's .We were out for a drive with friends and I broke my rule and visitted Smitty's for dinner .Three of the group ordered New york steak .When order arrived we were served sirloin which is a less tender cut ,if we had been told our choice was not available we probably choose some thing else. Now we will not visit for breakfast and go eleswhere in the future. The booth we were seated in was badly worn to the lining at the window near washroom enterance .All in all a very disapointing evening , because we had recomended this restaurant to our friends.
